Open Wheel Cars?

Post by tjcezar » Thu Sep 09, 2010 7:14 pm

Checking in to see if any open wheel guys run with your club. Finished a school with a Formula car club a few weeks back and am looking for some track time in my Formula Continental. All replies Welcome.

Yes, we get open wheel cars and sports racers too.
Formula Continental (FSCCA), CSR, DSR, Spec Renault, Formula Vee, and even Ariel Atoms (apologies to Mark S. - I couldn't resist!). ;)

You can check out our home page at www.comscc.org , and follow the link to event results and track records, so view what kinds of cars that run. The short answer, is that we have cars of every flavor.

cheers,

Will

FE, Formula Enterprise.

Come on down! We aren't like other HPDE clubs. We use stopwatches. And Solo I competition the second day. Trophies.

Day one you will get 4 sessions (~20-30 minutes each)
Day two you will get 2 sessions before noon. After lunch we will have our time trial where you run 3 timed laps. The time trial can take a few hours for all participants to get their timed laps in. After that it will be open track for the rest of the day. Then an awards ceremony where the results are announced and trophies are presented.
Come play.

This sounds great. I need to rustle up a crew member for help and if that works out I'm in.

I am so sorry. I was assigned as your instructor using lead/follow on track to check you out but I badly blew my transmission at the Cheap Date races at NHMS yesterday. Tried to fix it on the spot but my CSR did not have a shift fork.

Will, the chief instructor will find another instructor for you.
