Buy the Exige. MUCH faster, loads lighter, and less than 1/2 the price. E-leciric cars are a 100 year old waste of time.

if your power station burns fossil fuels to make electricity then how much smaller is the carbon footprint ? 12 hour charge time , 220 volt . amps ? and 250 miles on a charge . then there are the batterys ! i think it was you had to replace them every 6 to 8 years or 100,000 miles . and there not all that cheap to replace then what to do with the old ones ?

250 mile range..don't they wish! It's more like 50 miles of real time use. That's with MINIMAL accessory use,like..the heat..or A/C or...lights,wipers,radio,etc etc. Battery technology is the only thing holding up viable E-lectric cars from being dependable, economical transportation. Some day...someone may figure out an effective way to store electrical energy. Maybe some visiting extraterresrial....

what got me thinking about getting one was i did some airbrushing on a triumph tr7 that the owner made into an electric car . it was cool ! had more tork than i thuoght it would . i was told that when every thing was on he could get about 125 miles on a charge .but he had no AC or heat in the car at that time . he was still working on the heating systom . when i drove the car it was so quiet . when you step on the gas peddle the car would have immediate excelleration .a big down side was draking . there was no motor braking when you got out of the gas and becouse there was no vacuum to the brake booster the stock braking sys sucked .
