SSC BMW 318ti

Post by jrottn » Wed May 06, 2009 10:30 pm

Say it isnt so
My brother Mark has decided to sell our long time track fix ride
It is a white 1995 BMW 318ti non sunroof 5-speed with 240ish k miles
Street/Track brake pads (PFC97), Koni shocks, clip in harness' , and 4 sets wheels/tires (2 alloy track- 2 steel street w/summer and snow tires)
Thing gets good mileage, very dependable and looks super cool thanks to the driver side "charecter" added by the inside tire wall at lime rock
Holds track record at Calaboogie, Once held track records for both SSB and SSC chicane/chicane, has run 1.08s flat at lime rock and ran a 2.33.3 at the Glen before DQing last lap of time trial
Would be tough to go racing any cheaper- $1800
My work # is 603 329-7322 and Marks cell is 603 205-5075

I don't want this car sitting this winter. $1100 without the snow tires. Make an offer. You can be ready to compete in SSC for the October NHMS.

No it's not .. he's just been lucky
All kidding aside I had the "pleasure" of competing against that beamer many times. I have lots of good memories especially when the delta was in the 100/1000 of seconds.
Great track car! but I still prefer my Alfa as you can all appreciate ... it's my 2,000 lb Italian girlfriend!
