Mont Trembalnt - where to stay?

Post by rousespointer » Mon Jul 12, 2010 9:14 am

Any recommendations for motels near the track. I haven't been to Tremblant in two years. I stayed at that historic old hotel right in town but won't do that again. I think someone posted last year about places to stay.

Auberge du Coq de Montagne seems popular. I've stayed at the youth hostel (>very< close to the track), the condos in the ski village and rented houses. If you can spend a few extra days a house/condo rental is great, there are many vacation rentals in the Mont-Tremblant/St. Jovite area. -FF

I stayed here http://www.hotelmonttremblant.com/ over the Irish Pub. Cheap and clean and a 10 minute bike ride to the track entrance. The food is good and there's beer

from Auberge du Coq de Montagne you can swim to the track. I have used a paddle boat to go back to the track for trophies.

If you are still looking for a place we have a room available in a house we have rented for the past 3 years. As the crow flies it is about 300 yards from the track, it is about 2 miles on the road.

Email me if interested.

I can's believe I'm going to miss MT this year. I have to fly to Chicago for a week starting tomorrow. I get back the night before flying to Belize for vacation (I need it). Soon as I get back from Belize, it's off to Chicago again. This time, I return the night before NHMS3. See you all there.

I found a krewe of COM folk to hang out with a bit at auberge du coq montagne after rolling in Monday night

Wife said I was nuts to drive up Monday night for one day at the track, to then turn around and drive right back, but it was well worth it. Even though I nearly peed myself from fear (numerous lockups, near-spins, and tankslappers  ) the first run session, and then went dog-slow in the TT

Still fun to me
