WTB: Miata 1.6 Tranny

Post by 6PAK72 » Wed Jun 16, 2010 12:17 pm

Anyone have a low-mile or rebuilt sitting around for immediate use?

Synchros in our 3rd gear gave out last weekend.

Thanks!

Jeff,

I have one sitting in the basement. Can't swear to the low mileage, but it worked fine in my car for years. Replaced it as part of some routine maintenance when I was prepping for a 24 hour race.

Even better news - I'm in Rindge, NH, so it's close.

Give me a buzz tonight if you're interested - 603-899-3146.
Or e-mail - marc_martin@bose.com

THANKS! Miata 1.6 Tranny Solved

Got one from a '95 rear-end wreck with 22k on it.

Now it's time to enjoy crawling on a concrete floor with a 100 pound weight on my chest...

@Sam - Damned right!

As for old trans, I suspect I'm rebuilding it, but I note your interest and if I decide to part it I'll give you first call.
