I'm having trouble finding the drift. Can some one point it out to me?

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"

Stephan,I believe waving to the crowd slowed you down that 1/10th of a second...

That not a tenth -- that's 1/100th of a second. :o Just raising his eyebrow at the crowd would do it.

Egads..right you are... 1/100th of a second over a 4 mile track. Probably could not do that again even if they wanted to....

Thanks Stephan, I really wanted to go but work is thin right now so I can't past anything up maybe next year. It will be great to be on track next week after a long winter.

I concentrated specifically on my not-waving technique to make up that 1/100 of a second on Stephan :sunny:

Right, thought I covered in the classroom: do as I say .. don't do as I do
All kidding aside, I have had close call like that before. All I can say is: IT'S FUN, I'd take 2nd place like that ANY DAY over and over again because that is as close and competitive as it can get.

It was definitely a ton of fun - an excellent time trial and a great event at Monticello :)
