Interesting. It could be that the Super 8 might be the ticket next time. I promise, you'll be frickin amazed!! The specific portion dispensing corn flakes apparatus really puts it over the top.

i didn't have a problem with my stay there, although our toilet and shower backed up. they asked if we wanted to move to another room, instead I had them find a room whose shower we could use. amusing.

I was at BestWestern - I was satisfied. It was clean.

I drove by the Wall-mart on Monday night and thought the only thing missing there were a few cows and sheep

"I drove by the Wall-mart on Monday night and thought the only thing missing there were a few cows and sheep"

They were inside...."manning" the registers.

The nice thing about "camping" is you know what to expect for accommodations, and if you don't like the scenery, you just ..move.

Too bad all tracks don't allow overnight camping. That would be ideal. NHMS is the best!
It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"

There are more choices available in Middletown. Route 17 goes through Middletown, and some of the hotels are right on the route. It should take about 30 minutes to get to the track from Middletown, so its a bit longer but there are more restaurants, etc. Hotels include Holiday Inn, Super 8, Courtyard, Hampton, Days Inn, HOJO, Microtel.

up date . i friend stopped by my shop today he was racing his motorcycle there over the memorial day week end . he said he will never go back to race there . they stayed at one hotel that had mold in the tub . then they went to the motel 6 (i think he said ) thinking it would be better becouse it was a big chain . the 1st room they got the tv did not work and the 2nd room he said you had to flush the crapper 10 time just to get your dump to go down . then going home thru the center of town he ripped the tail lights off the trailer .
