imgon wrote:Just made our reservations at the Lodge but they told me they don't offer the $89 per night as a stay two nights get the third free. It's either the reduced rate for all three nights or the regular rate for two and the third night free. Did anyone else run into this? Did anybody hear what the regular rate is, they don't post rates on their site so its probably pricey? I didn't think to ask when I had them on the phone.
Regular rate is $109 with 3rd night free = $218+taxes. COM rate is $89 for ALL THREE nights = $267+taxes. Cheaper to go at regular rate if staying 3 nights, as I plan to do.

I'll have to call them back today. They gave me the same kind of crap when I called also. Now I know the secret! Thanks Mario.

Thanks Mario, save that $$ for the apres-track barbecue our Event Operations Chief is organizing at the Monticello Motor Club!

Fyi, there are still ~9 rooms available from the block of 30 at the Lodge at Rock Hill in case anyone is interested. I will try to reserve additional rooms but that may not be possible, so anyone >thinking< of it should do so asap.

I've reserved a nonsmoking double room at the Day's Inn in Liberty, which is about 15 minutes farther away than the Lodge, but $20 per night cheaper, and highly rated by customers at both Priceline and Travelocity.

Would anyone like to share the room with me?

Alison
