Hi Dave, you better check on the SSA classification. The Noble is a kit car and should run in the proper class for kit cars.

We had a Noble run with Com at NHIS a few years ago. I think he only did the school day. I spoke with the driver , he said he wasn't fast and was learner the car, he was not very fast at all but I'm sure the car can be. He was also having problems with, I think, overheating

SSU minimum. BMW e46 m3 = 333hp is in SSU. How can a 425 hp car be in a lower class?

Bring it on. I have no problem competing against a car that has doors, fenders, a hood, and a trunk, and was actually designed to be a street car. :)

greg you need some competition in your class . nate emailed me and stated he should be in ssu . and will stay in ssb unless he's protested . mark will probably tell him at sign in that he's classed wrong .

Seeing as it comes into this country without a drivetrain, and is considered a kit car,and is a forced induction 6cyl..wouldn't it be an SPA car? It certainly has the potential to be in the class.

The Noble is sold as a kit car to bypass DOT specs. The bodies are made in South Africa and were sold by 1 G Racing in Hamilton, Oh. . Their ad in Road & Track Dec. 2005 states " 1G Racing offers the Noble M400 and M12 in the U.S. as a component vehicle rolling chassis without engine and transaxle." This is the same as several other kit car companies like Superformance (chassis and body made by the same company in South Africa). 1 G Racing has morphed into Rossion in Fl. which now offers the Rossion Q1 which is basically the same car and is still offered as a component vehicle. the Nobles were not offered as a complete vehicle like the Atom II. If you classify a Noble in either SS or ST class than all other kit cars should be classed as the same. By our rules the Noble is an SP car and since it is a turbo charged V6 it is in SPA. A stock Ariel Atom II or III is a production car and should be in SS. Sorry Mark yours is not stock
