COM at the SHOW!

Post by chaos4NH » Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:55 pm

FANtasy DRIVE at NHMS. April 3, 2010 from 900AM until 400PM. The track will host an event for all their fans and families. COM will be there with our CAR Show Display and usual raffles and drawings for Ride Arounds and Free Track Days. This is going to be a BIG event. In addition to the cars on display, the track will open up many of its operational areas for fans to peruse. I am going to take the point for the COM display and would like some energetic volunteers to setupand take down our display. I am not sure how many, but I am sure that we will be bringing a few cars to show the roundy rounds what kind of machinery we run! One of the great things we gain is exposure to racers from many different venues and the cost is $0!
I will say again, this will be a BIG event! Check out the http://www.NHMS.com website!

I almost forgot to mention, Mark, your Atom is more than welcome at this event

If I were not running the NE-SVT event, I would go as well.

Sam, I should be able to at least help with setup and tear down. IF my car can at least roll by then on it's own I'll be happy to bring it up for the display as well. Feel free to IM or email me with details of what you need.

Thanks Tom. I am still working the details with the track. Will post more as they are available. Right now I MAY have enough cars. A Z06 (Bob Brooks), ST3 Mazda Gordon Andrade) and open wheel/formula (Bruce Allen). I am trying to negotiate a 4th one and was hoping for some road racer American iron like a Rousch Mustang?? Thanks for the offer to set up and assist. We are raffling off (free raffle of course!) 3 Ride Arounds and a free track day. Ladies are more than welcome to show the crowd that ladies rock on the road tracks.

Oh yeah, the New Kid On The Block (Z06) gets all the attention! Sure it might be pretty now but will it still be pounding the pavement in 17 years like my '93 Vette?

You are probably very correct Tom! In this case it was first come first served, though. :(

UPDATE: Need 3 or 4 more volunteers to run the "booth". Would hate to cancel this opportunity for lack of support from the club members. We are, after all, a volunteer run organization. I will post definite details on Monday. For right now, all I know are the show hours and date, 900 am - 400 pm, Saturday, April 3.

Sam, I can be there from 9:00 to 12:30 for whatever you need. Would I be able to park my 93 vette nearby?
