Dan,I purposely left my favorite address as
http://comscc.org just to see if it would work, and it did.
What do you think about one of those NEQ car control clinics? I can prep my awd Explorer and you could take the wifes Awdie.

Then again,we could chase each other around in your field (or mine) for free...

To update this..I can post from my wifes laptop from in the house. It is going through the same router as the MAC..It shows the address http://www.comscc.org,the same as the MAC. Hmm..

Mark, just get rid of the computers that will not connect. You only need to connect to the COM site, anything else is a waste of time and keeps you from catching me.

I don't think it's the computers...Funny how the two other computers (ones a MAC) won't allow me to post, but the new one (Dell laptop) will, since Mick "threw the switch".It was opposite that before the switch. I have tried comscc.org
http://www.comscc.org and deleting cookies, browser history, did disc cleanup....but still can't post from the Mac or the old shop laptop. It is only on the COM site that I have a problem like this. Not sure what to do.

Guess I'll go work on the Atom...

Mark, I've been trying to find a solution for you, but there's little information on this sort of issue.

Something easy to check when there are cookie issues is the clock and timezone. I've seen cases where the browser considers the cookie pre-expired since the clocks are so far out of sync. The timezone is the big one....

Here is an interesting twist...I deleted all cookies..and logged in on the Mac making sure not to check the log-auto box..and I can now post! However,if I check the "log me in automatically every visit" box when I log in...the website shows me as logged in..but will NOT allow me to post. Strange or what?If I want to post on the Mac,I have to go back and delete all board cookies, log in again,NOT check the auto-log box and I can post. I'm going to try the same thing with the old laptop in the shop to see if it works.
Sure am glad cars aren't this complicated...
