Dave, that's brilliant!!!
Only worry, it's a Miata - Ivy, you think you can handle seeing 40 Miatas at once being scratched and tiremarked in a race start going 6-cars-wide into turn 1... ?

Many guys race both SM and SSM on the same weekend. They've already paid to get there, sleep and eat there so the additional entry fee isn't too painful. And you get twice the track time. A nice thing about racing a Miata is that someone at the track has the spare part you need, no matter how obscure. I'm going to have parts to basically rebuild an entire car in the bed of my pickup next season and what I don't have with me I've got at home.
Jeff: get the proper safety gear and do a school or two next spring!
Kai: you can work out car storage with the place I PM'd to you.

Cy: So, thinking about how I never get tired of track time, I could in principle run SM, SSM, and ITA the same weekend if they run them all separately???
May just need a lot of fuel, sets of tires, pads, brake fluid.
Should be fine on the engine since it remains stock - my Toyota engine (1.6l DOHC) is just fine spending 2hrs at high rpm on a good track day...

As with everything, I'll cross the bridge when I come to it
