1999 MIATA ROLLER

Post by jimalley » Sun Oct 11, 2009 8:52 pm

1999 Miata Roller For sale.

Started a project in 2004 that was abandoned once I got involved in SCCA racing.

Project was a 1999 Miata with Honda S2000 power and drive train for participating in HPDE events.

This car does not have an engine, transmission or computer.
This is a good start or platform for someone who wants to build a 99 from the ground up.
New Spec Miata sway bars and shocks. (Never used)
New stainless steel brake lines.
New Kirkey Intermediate Road racing seat.
Quick disconnect steering wheel
New five point seat belt. (out dated will need to be re-webbed and certified)
New rotors all around.
New Hawk brake pads.
New windshield
Harddog bolt-in cage (does not have SCCA door bars)
New Mazda speed Tow hooks.
New (Miata Yellow) paint job. (Car was green)
Spare front rotors.
Complete exhaust system (springfield muffler) off of early model miata.
Spare (valved) used Bilstiens if buyer is thinking IT.
Spare Brake pads.

$4,500.00

Photos have been added to Link (finally)

Car can be purchased with S2000 engine and transmission for $8,500.00 (See photo's)

Unfortunatley, I have never taken a photo of the car since it was painted. The car has been in storage for three years. Yes there is a title, but the car has been stripped to be a track only car.

I saw this car over the weekend; very nice car and looked like the paint job was done well. It was in a storage shed so light wasn't "great"; but you could tell the work performed was quality work. It's a great project for someone who has the time/space.
