Don't see it in the new rule book.

I don't think all cars ever made are listed in the rule book

I am pretty sure the Legacy GT will end up in SSGT / ST1 / SPB classes, same as the WRX's.

From http://www.subaru.com

Maximum Towing capacity (Class 1) ** 2,700 lbs. (when properly equiped)

Looks like the GT can tow an Elise as a track car. :)

The Z weighs 2300, so all's I'd need'd be a <400 lb. tow dolly.
Hmmm...

I'd say a GT and Ariel Atom would be a perfect match!

Reason # 1,342,904.2 why I will own an Atom some day. :D

here's what I don't understand: in the UK, the 3.0l versions are rated at 2000kg (4400lbs.), and everything else at 1800kg.

Hmmm, maybe I should downgrade.

I'm pulling my 1600 pound CRX on a 900 pound aluminum 14 foot trailer with a Yukon XL. Sounds like the Legacy would do the job.
