Last laps of the ALMS at Laguna
Last laps of the ALMS at Laguna
Anyone see the ending?
Re: Last laps of the ALMS at Laguna
That is bonkers. Was there any fallout? I'm asking because I'm going to try this at COM.

I didn't see Jorg give Jan a point by.

It was probably the finger between the ring and pointer finger.

Holy crap. I wasn't expecting that..
It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"

The Corvette got what it deserved.

WOW...I had missed the ending (had to leave for 'Canadian Thanksgiving dinner).
Thanks for posting that Mick!
Sheesh...that was a bit worse than my tire that got cut down during my epic battle with the Neon at Lemons last weekend

Wow, I hadn't seen that either. I can't believe it to be honest. Just wow..
I hope the driver of the Corvette was ok, that looked like a pretty serious impact.

What's so hard to believe? If you push your way by someone in line at Dunkin Doughnuts, you might get wacked.

Re: Last laps of the ALMS at Laguna
There's nothing about driving in a race that has to do with standing in line. In fact the whole point is to get in front. If the Porsche was balking, he deserved the hit. There was plenty of room between the Porsche and the wall, it is likely the Porsche intentionally shoved the rear of the Corvette sideways. Getting a bump in the rear on the way into a corner for being in the way is a completely different class of incident then sending someone into a wall like that. That's just obvious from the damage...
I didn't watch the race and you can't tell from the footage if the Porsche is doing more then the standard being as wide as possible.
