Pitching a tent

Post by offcamber09 » Thu Jul 23, 2009 12:22 pm

It looks like there is a shortage of grassy areas to camp at NHMS. What was the situation at the last event- did it look like tent city along the fence going into "3"?

Hi Scott, There is no grass camping area left :( There is a little gras to the right just after you come through the tunnel but there was a bunch of pickup trucks , leftover from NASCAR, parked on it at NHMS2. If you are going to camp , bring a heavy ground tarp to put under the tent. Are you going to NHMS3 ?

..actually, there is still a grassy area to the right as you come out of the tunnel. It's not a lot, but still plenty big enough for 5 or 6 camp sites.

800 rwhp........in my dreams. I've done nothing other than take an honest look at the car. Tom Cannon and i have been talking about leading the PA push. As long as enough cars end up there- it will still be fun. That was my only reluctance- that there are only 2 PA cars and the other one was on the Nextel Cup Circuit last year. As busy as FasTrack has been- who knows when i'll be competing for any championships again.

What the hell? All these replies and nothing about pitching a tent in a grassy field.
