Does Calabogie have race gas?

Alex. They didn't have any pumps when we were there in 08, it's possible that they've put some in since though.

I just called them and they said that they only have 94 octane. I tried calling before I made this thread but Canada was closed until 10:30am

Hopefully for the Patroon / Ottawa BMW club Event -- July 17-19th?

I will check on the race gas. I know the Stinson only had 94 octane

Still No Race Gas available at the Track or in Calabogie. There are 2 places in Ottawa for both leaded and unleaded. I am told most of the racers using race gas for the BMW club race are bringing their own.

Let me know if you need the place in Ottawa and I will find out the name

They don't even have bathrooms, and frankly it is *almost* a stretch for the town to have electricity!

OK, I'm exagerating a bit. The track is great though, and the people are simply incredible!

Worth the trip, even if you have to BYORG.

they do have bathrooms. I was there last week and they have added some very nice buildings. Race control is very nice and they have added a 3 story building with a shop (tire, repairs etc), A/C training classroom, rental "appartments, etc. Very fency! CMP is really investing and they appear to be attracting a lot of people. The motor inn is not great but it is far better than the HOJO in Bowmanville!
