What kinds of shoes are permitted / recommended? The rules mention a few things you shouldn't wear, but otherwise simply state that you should have "suitable footwear."
If possible, I would like to wear slip-on dress shoes. I have attached a picture of my shoes, although the set in the picture is from last year (I just bought a brand new pair of these). Would this be acceptable? My vehicle is Showroom Stock, in case it matters. I also have a pair of dress shoes which have laces, in case that would be preferred. I like these types of shoes for driving because the bottoms are not too stiff to prevent tactile feedback.

Only if you wear one of these to match! Otherwise I'm going to protest.

That's an awesome shirt. Sadly, there is not enough time left to order and receive it before the event... Plus, you know, it's not long-sleeved (as is the requirement in the rule-book).
Anyway, I'll interpret your humorous response as a thumbs up for dress shoes. I'll probably bring another pair with me anyway, just-in-case.

Masten Gregory always wore shoes like yours back when drivers were gentlemen. They worked aspecially well when he had to stand up in the seat and jump from his Djag just before it hit the earthen berm at Goodwood.
