Mont'Tremblant June 8 & 9, 2009 Important Notes

Post by chaos4NH » Wed May 13, 2009 2:58 pm

Here are important notes for those attending our event at Mont-Tremblant.
1. Registration will be held at 700 (or shortly thereafter) to 800 am each morning in front of the timing tower.
2. Tech inspection will be held from 700 (orshortly thereafter) to 800 am each morning at the right end of the paddock.
3. Paddock traffic is COUNTER CLOCK WISE.
4. There is a STRICT 92 db noise limit. Bring your noise supression devices (and a muffler or two might be handy, too). Certain American V8's and a Miata or two won't make the grade! The noise levels are monitored via a direct line to the local police as well as on track portable equipment.
5. You may not rev up start your engines before 800 AM. Idle quietly to the tech inspecion area (or in some cases - push 'm).
6. Classes will be conducted in the cafeteria.
7. I am assured the cafeteria will be open for sale of lunch items. But in case it is not, see the guy in the big motor home for a cook out. (kiddin, just kidding!)
8. The PA system will not fire up until 800AM (local noise ordinance!), so pay attention to times to spelled out on the schedules passed out at registration.
9. The gate will open at 700 AM each morning. Closing time for Monday and Tuesday night will be announced at the track - pay attention.
10. You may drop off your trailers on Sunday up until 700 PM when the gates close.
11. You may leave your trailers Tuesday night, but they must be moved to the far right of the paddock to allow room for another group arriving Tuesday evening.
