Can't delete the last one, but Mick should be back on the job tonight and polish them off!

Ugh. They made a mess of this place. I don't know how they got in and edited existing posts.

Whatever you do, please do not click on any of those links. They probably send you to malware sites. I'm working on cleanup now.

Ok, I see what they did. At first glance it looked like they were editing existing posts. Instead what they were doing was creating new accounts, then copying the text from existing posts, adding links and reposting them. They probably thought they could blend in and the moderators wouldn't notice.

I've deleted the offending accounts. Now I'm off to find better spam protection. It's a never ending battle

We have a new spam protection scheme in place. If this works and stops bogus registrations I will be able to remove the previous spam protection system ( "How many wheels on your car" question )

Mick fixed that for you. Now you just have to be able to add 4 + 4, spell Massachusetts

A had to add a couple of new questions to beat the recent spammers. They come up randomly. The system will recognize various answers to make it easier. For instance you can write in Massachusetts, or just enter MA (lowercase works as well)
