If you thought my Cobra was badass...

Check this thing out. I have personally driven this car and it is quite a machine. The owner has moved on to a new platform.

Very impressive car, indeed. I remember him at autocross. It seemed very difficult to control all that power. He would touch the gas and the tires would spin. Fun,but not good for times. Could a car actually have too much power? Naah! Wonder what the car would do on track...consume lots of fuel and tarrs or sure!

750 wheel hp and he ran an 10.64 second quarter mile at 130mph? I guess I don't have a feel for drag race times.

If the car is not specifically set up for drag racing,to take full advantage of weight transfer, with a proper set of drag racing slicks, with the drivetrain/suspension optimized for running a 1/4 mile, then it will be very difficult to use that 750whp. to its full potential.

I think it also said the car ran the 1/4 mile time on 10 psi only; the dyno results are at 16 psi.
If it still has the IRS I would think he is limited on what he can do for 1/4 mile; those half shafts won't like 1.2 60 foot times!

Pretty impressive car. Tough economy/time to be selling.

Who knows? It took less than a month to sell mine. I was half expecting that I'd still be running the car at events even now, but I'm really glad it is gone.
