This is one of the few times of the year that I wish I got Speed TV. Oh well.

Everybody remember the GT2 finish from 2 years ago? 8) :!:

Yeah, yeah... where's that finger smiley when I need it?

I'm actually watching the race online from speedtv.com -- we have the Internet here too!

26 car starting grid? Check out the 1970 entry list to see how bad things have gotten.

That is pretty sad for sure. Only 3 in GT1, and the Corvette drivers were proud of their win? Announcers kept trying to convince us that the P1 class has 5 contenders. Only problem is, they will only run some of them at LeMans.

If there was only one car on track,I would watch. Maybe not for 12hrs...

Those LMP cars are so nice...I miss the Porsche Spyders. They were handsome, fast cars.

I was at the race and have some photos here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/rcatucci/12 ... ebring2009#

Not many are 'great' but it was a $200 camera and I am not much of a photographer, so if you don't like 'em , suck it! ;) The Audi/Pew-got battle was fun to watch, as was the battle between the #21 Panoz of Ian James and #45 Porsche of Lieb during the last hour. Too bad the Rahal/Letterman M3s didn't last the race, one was a second up on Gigliotti's Vette (read FAST!) and looked/sounded great. Maybe that's what happens when BMW lets PTG go as PTG finished 3rd with the Panoz and BMW didn't finish at all with Rahal/Letterman?

Is this official pointing to a safety violation? Image

Great shots. We saw "The Car" at Watkins this summer - he was racing it.

Just think about calling your insurance agent..."ah, yah, I uh, well, I Damaged my car...no, it was only a single-car collision...well, yes, kind of at speed....No, I was far ahead of any other car on the trac///eh, roadway....no, really, I'm a very safe driver.....the body shop tells me that the custom panels and nose are about 4 million......hello...hello...????"

Nice photo of the streamlined tail option..... :D
