'99 Spec RX7 w/LS1 swap

Post by eastcoastbumps » Fri Mar 13, 2009 12:57 pm

The car is now on eBay. Bidding starts at $1.00 and there is NO RESERVE! Please tell your friends or anyone who you think would be interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0409566960

'93 Mazda RX7 with Chevy 5.7 Liter LS1 and '99 Spec appearance upgrades. I purchased the car last year from its original owner. He was very sad to see it go and I will be too. 87k miles on the chassis, 15k miles on the running gear, and 3k miles on the swap. I'm an ASE certified master technician and this is the second LS1 RX7 I have completed. (Here is the last one: http://www.v8rx7forum.com/v8-rx7-techni ... w-ls1.html ) Never tracked, autocrossed or drag raced. Its very fast, very fun and super reliable. It passed Mass. state inspection the week I finished the swap. Looks great with all the '99 Spec parts and staggered Borbet wheels. Sounds awesome with the LS1 and custom stereo. The swap is very simple. Anyone who knows GM cars shouldn't have any trouble working on it. I'm also very happy to answer any questions before or after the sale. You can contact me by phone at 774 275 0873 or by email at pete.mcparland@gmail.com Please do not PM me.

Thanks. These cars are great on the track. My brother ran a 1:55 at Tremblant in my last one. Stock LS1, stock 15 year old suspension and a set of RA1's.

Pete,

Is the car still for sale or did the eBay buyer really end up coming through?

Thanks,
Chris
