Car Show Opportunities to Promote COM

I will be updating this thread as I put together a package for the NorthEast Exotic Car Show. Benefit of the Make A Wish Foundation and a great opportunity to show our cars and promote COM. I have contacted the organizers, so please hold back questions, but make a note of this event - usually held mid-August at the Budweiser Brewery in Merrimack, NH.
At this time, Shawn, George and I are going to clean up our cars and make the show.

Great idea, Sam. Lots of great cars and spectators. No electricity for TV available. I'd be glad to help work the booth as I'll be there with my S2000.

i would be interested in attending as well. my 69 is in my booth now being painted and i am putting together a 71 track car as well

I'm not sure my car would qualify to enter an exotic car show, but if you want a "used' race car in the group I'll join the party.

imgon . i don't think that cars like a honda s2000 or sam's speed 3 are all that exotic . nor is my ferrari 348ts all that ! but i don't think thats the point of us going with our cars . i'm thinking its more to just show peaple that almost any car on a track is a damb good time ! i'm going to promote the club ! i don't even know which car i'm taking ? it may be the mazda az1 or the 348ts or my vw gti thats all airbrushed ?

Your Rabbit would bring down the house! That is an airbrush work of art!
I have told the Board of Directors of the interest and my willingness to be the point man on this. If we can't bring the people to COM, we can bring COM to the people!

hay sam i was thinking ? i don't know if they will park us all together or not . if they are we will need some kind of tent to set up with a big comscc banner ? and if they don't put us all together then we should get some thing like fliers to put under our wipers to show we are all comscc members ? i will not talk about stickers becouse its like wiping a dead horse !!!!!!!!!

I am working out those details. When I went in 2007, we had 6 or so members of the Mazda 3 Forum and they parked up all together. I am sure if we show as a club we can get our personal pace, as the DeLorean group, etc. We can get the COM stuff from our show package that we used in Portland last week, and I am looking at some other stuff for inexpensive hand outs. Thanks for the input!

I think that almost all of the COM cars are at least as "exotic" as most of the cars present for last year's show.

Sam, I passed on your suggestion to my wife. She said...well never mind what she said, but I don't think that's gonna work.
