Sorry, I have held up the release with a harddrive crash issue on my laptop.

I expect the rulebook will be published within a week or so!

Thanks Carl,

So SP is back to SP Safety rules and not ST / SS Safety rules.

section XI

11. Fuel cell (tank) must be separated from the passenger compartment by a metal or composite bulkhead. All fuel and oil
lines passing through the passenger compartment must be either steel tubing or steel braided hose (Aeroquip, Earls,
etc.).

i thought this was not the final wording to be used? if it is, cool, i dont need a METAL bulkhead. i think a sheet of seran wrap should due just fine.

No, there was a mistake in the 2009 rules. The changes to the SP safety rules - harness Not required and no fire suit, where inadvertently left out.
Those portions are the same as the 2008 rules, as revised, and should be corrected.

The current version is now Revision 3, please make sure you are working from the latest copy.

Thanks to Will for pulling together the update so quickly.

Glad to see restraints may be substituted for window nets.
