Forum acting up... Mick to the rescue

Post by breakaway500 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 9:59 am

Error Code 500 - Internal Server Error
The server experienced an unexpected error. Please verify the address and try again

Most of the time, this is what I am getting. The forum loads VERY slowly,if at all.It does not matter if I use Firefox or Explorer,it seldom loads pages before timing out. Only website that I am encountering it.

Thanks,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I am working on it. It's just taking a lot of back and forth with the ISP. We'll get it fixed.

@ everyone.
Sorry about all the downtime. I'm still trying to get this resolved.
There are a number of reasons why this could be happening. In order to eliminate the forum software as a possible cause I'll be reinstalling the forum over the weekend. The main site will remain available but the forums will probably be offline for a while.

Thanks Fred. It seems a little better for me too.
The ISP could see there was something wrong with the server but couldn't pinpoint the issue, which was starting to make me wonder if it was our code after all .
Since it's more stable now I think I'm going to hold off on the re-install and see how it goes.
