TV coverage starts at 4:40 pm Sat Jan 24th until 10pm. Sunday's coverage starts at 7 am. On SPEED of course

Look for a COMer during the race. Bruce Ledoux will be one of the drivers of a GT3 Porsche, I can't remember the number right now I think it is either #63 or #68. I introduced Bruce to COM several years ago as a newbie. Look what happens with all the good COM training and experience......

I will be heading down Fri AM. This is the 4th year. It is a ton of fun for low money.Plan to do the "hard core" root this year.Catch a few z'ss in the car at the track on sat night and watch most of the race.
Karl Thompson,the guy I bought my new rx7 from runs a 3 car Koni ST team.Compass 360. He has hired Randy Pobst to drive one of his civics.The Koni races are great.

I was just looking at the Daytona site and noticed Bruce. It will be exciting to see a fellow COM guy make good.

I am also going down to watch the race live. It will be different watching an enduro race and not having to do anything!

I just got a chance to get down there this weekend

I think we'll be flying down Saturday and back home Sunday. It'll be my first. I'm looking forward to just hanging out at the track in the semi warm weather and not working on any cars.

It was a last minute plan that seems to be unraveling. Apparently it will take only slightly less time to travel there by plane than by car so I will have to settle for fox and speed channel.

But I should be able to hear the Mazda's from here anyway if they are in keeping with the fine traditions of RX-7s.
