Is it too late to submit a rules change?
Obviously missed the Fall submission by a mile but wasn't sure if there was just that one window of opportunity?

You missed it. Except for new car classifications. They are ongoing. LIke a TVR. Or a Prius.

Prius. That's VERY funny.

Can we consider down-classifying a push-rod engine? Somehow, the concept of the TR6 chasing a DOHC V6 injected engine give a whole new meaning to the concept of chasing....

Jake doesn't seem to have any problems with pushrods and old cars...

I see. It's Jake's Fault.
That's OK, I can't outdrive the car anyway. I'm the limiting factor.

Ummm Push rods bad? NASCAR 750 Hp, 9,000 rpm; Corvette ZR1, 600+ Hp. It is more the british problem. Old Lorry engines.6PAK72 wrote:Can we consider down-classifying a push-rod engine? My bride says that the TR is the fastest Massey Fergesun you'll ever see....
My old 67 Charger was a pushrod engine as well. What's the line..."There is no replacement for displacement?" 440CI 6-pak, 515hp, 13.5:1 comp. Rolled off consistent high-11's, low 12's at Epping. It's only problems were driving, steering and stopping it.....oh yea, and buying petrol every 160 miles.

I remember when a low 12 second car made you a God in town.
Now,they're as common as SUV's. Hell, even some of them can run 12's.
