no its not a joke ! i went down to NY. about four weeks ago to look at the car and give the owner an estimate to put the car back together . when he was living in japan he purchased the car new . then 3 years later he was getting shipped back to the states and wanted the car . so over the course of a year he took the car all apart and shipped it back to the states . 18 crates and the body shell . its been sitting for years now and he has no idea how to put it back together . i told him that it could take 100 hours or 1000 hours to reassemble it. all the nut and bolts are in boxes and nothing is marked or labeled were it came from . so i may buy it for 1500 bucks .

Some guys put a 3 rotor wankel into them. They end up with something like 300hp in a 1500 pound car!

Wanna make a deal?

According to our rules, to stay in SP the car must have the same number of cylinders as stock. Otherwise Prepared.

It also seems to me that it may not go into SPB. The stewards must decide. Currently a 4 cyl turbo is SPB but we have never classified a 3 cyl turbo. I would like to see SPC. And why is not SS or ST?

yes i too would like to see a spc class . in no way is this car a spb car ! the owner of the car now tells me it handles incredible but is very slow and in his words (if it drops under 4 grand a kid on a bike will pass you .) i'm having flash backs of racing my beetle ! as for the RX8 one of our workers wants it . i would snake him if i wanted the car. but at this time, not to sell it to another person . he has a gen. 1 RX7 and wants the drive train for that . i was also thinking of putting the RX8 motor in abandoned miata we have with a cracked block ?
