Any one need a Neck/Helmet Support?

Post by imgon » Sun Jan 04, 2009 1:33 pm

I have a helmet support I bought a couple of years ago and never used, was too big for me. I hate to throw things away, can someone use it? It may be an XL, I have a 16" neck and it was way too loose on me.It is red and I believe it is out of date, was mfg'd in 2003. Price is cost of shipping to you or if you want to wait until first event can deliver at track. Email me at imgon@comcast.net if interested. I do have pics but not anywhere I can upload to this site.

Chuck:
Is this a neck brace? Like the one used for kart racing and some of us in the club (like me) uses too?
If yes, I don't think these go out of date unless you have somethign stamped on it.

Yes it is a neck brace. It is a foam pad covered with cloth. Has a velcro tab in front to allow slipping around your neck. The SFI label has dates on it and it was stamped July of 2003. Just imagined it was like seat belts and only "legal" for a few years.
