I caught a few minutes of this 2-hour documentary on the "HD Theater" channel on Turkey Day. I've set my DVR to record it when it replays today at 3PM. I think it will be on a few more times.
The 30 minutes I watched were awesome. Film from the late 30's and early 40's juxtaposed with scenes from modern-day races. So many beautiful cars, then and now. Interviews with racing legends like Sterling Moss. Tons of eye candy and history.
Great stuff!

HD Theater channel? I don't see it listed in my cable or dish listings.WillM wrote:I caught a few minutes of this 2-hour documentary on the "HD Theater" channel on Turkey Day. I've set my DVR to record it when it replays today at 3PM. I think it will be on a few more times.

Channel 9421 on Dish. My guide says it was on at 1pm on the 28th, but will be on again a number of times starting 12/21.

Channel 839 on Comcast in my area. Might be an extension of the Discovery channel.
Stephan - tons of Alfa's, and plenty of commentary about the Alfa/Ferrari rilvary, and later BMW & Mercedes.

I knew there were lots of Alfas who were winners over the years. There are some Alfa Club members here in New England who still go to the Migle Millia every year.
