Fast crowd in SPA

Post by jimmacsrx7 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 9:13 pm

Hi All,had a blast shaking down the "new" rx7 at our last event. At the end of the second session I could almost threshold brake without a lockup :)
Three y/o tires and no abs brakes.Guess I will have to learn to drive...
I posted a best for me timed run of 1:18.7's and did not get any kisses from the trophy girl

Great driving guys.Very close times. One missed apex or slide in a corner could make the difference and you can't ask for more than that.

And I gotta say it's good to see the current SPB crowd keeping SPA in check!

I hope I can keep up when I switch back to the Datsun next year...

Ha! when I logged in and was asked "Are you human?" I answered "No" and was denied access!! Are we discriminating against sentient non-humans?

Anyway, I think it's ironic that my daily driver would have a better chance next year in PB than SPB

This time when I tried to log in, it asked me how many wheels my car had. I said six (fantasizing I had one of those Tyrell GP cars) and was denied access. Guess someone is a little weak on their racing history knowlege

And Ted, give me a break, already

Next year awd cars get bumped up a class, so turbo 4's w/ awd => SPA.

dan, are you really admitting the 2.5 liter turbo import is faster than those big american v8's.
not many people would say that.

if and an unlikely if that happend, 2010 the v8's would ask to be moved to SPB

ted puts the stick in the pot and stirs it....hehhehehehhe

I'm just glad to see that the tradition of SPB setting the pace over SPA is alive and well!

Just kidding about awd turbos going into SPA, though that would make my life easier in the 240Z next year (o' course it wouldn't help Frank much, though!).

Nothing wrong with big American V8's. As long as they don't mind giving a Datsun a point-by!
