i posted this 24 hours ago and no one can tell me who runs the com store . i see there are tees and hats but no comscc STICKERS . WHY ? i see other peaple have them on there cars . so they should sell no ? and for all that matters how about coffee mugs , key chains , with the comscc icon on them . would they not also sell ? if these things were at the track when we were racing would peaple buy more of them ? i know i would . i just think it would help in promoting the club in a small way ?

Driversupply.com has been handling COM apparel and paraphernalia for the last few years, but I don’t think the proprietors read the forums regularly. Perhaps an email to the store would help to shake out some stickers.

this is exactly why i proposed a rule change for all cars, at minimum, running the time trials to be required to have 2 decals either right/left side or front/back.
need parts for your trailer, welding repairs/fabrication (sorry cant do aluminum), tires mounted and balanced, feel free to email/pm me. i am located a little west of nashua. ted

I had some light and dark ones made (for my own personal use)because I could not find them for sale anywhere. I am sure whoever is in charge of club merchandise could do the same thing.

I also feel it is important to fly your clubs logos

Many people have come up to me and asked about COM after seeing the stickers.

As Carl said, Driversupply.com offers personalized COM gear for sales.

When we had a bunch of decals made up a couple of years ago, we gave our 2 decals when members renewed their membership. I believe Boe used to bring the extras to events for sale.

To my knowledge, we never offered an online store for stickers.

This is something we can certainly look into!

Give me a couple of days and I'll get back with a better answer. :)

i think what nhsilversti stated is a very good idea !!!!! one in the front of the car and one on each side . you have to do this for NASA and SCCA as for IMSA its right and left side of the car . i vote yes for this rule change . we should all have the stickers on the cars if your a licensed competitor . as for the proceeds from the sales of the comscc swag . who gets that ? it should all be going to comscc not an out side vender .

more details will be available after the rule is in place, i think it will pass. there were a few more details to the rule change but i kept it simple here. it is in the hands of the BoD now, its up to them.

I have the COM stickers already on my car,but I am not in favor of a rule requiring them to be displayed.

In my opinion,it should be left to the car owner to choose what they display on their car, other than the required car number and class.

I think the reasoning also included the comment that the COM decal could also be magnets, just like the numbers/class magnets many people use.

^I don't think that will help the Vette owners etc.

I chose to display the logo,as a sign of gratitude, for the privilege of membership. 8)

other sanctioning bodys (clubs) make you put there stickers on you car . comscc should do the same ! if you want to remove them after you run then do so . if you don't want it to be a pain in the ass to take them back off then put masking tape or con-tact paper under them . when i raced off road motor cycles we had to put our numbers on our helmets . my helmets are always airbrushed and i always put con-tact paper down first . no big deal ! we had to do it . i think this club is very lacks on enforcing some things like the way numbers and class letters look and size they are . thing like that make the club look bad ! if the club wants to grow then this should be the first steps on looking more professional . NO?

Or the Cobra clones! I have a sticker on the rear window of the hard top and one on the tow vehicle, but only use the hardtop in the rain. Larger vinyl ones that could be stuck to the paint would be a nice addition.

Hey all I am new to comscc and to track events in general. As of now i am using my street car on the track and cringe every time i put tape on the side of my car. If i had a designated track car i would be more than willing to put com stickers on but as it is i don't. I am not crazy about the idea of putting more tape on my street car for an event, so i ask...

What about require Street prepared and prepared cars only to have com stickers?

This way people like my self and the guys with 100+ thousand dollar cars that run in showroom stock and street touring don't have to deal with taping additional things to their car.

magnetic backers would be the way to go.

if you are worried that tape will damage your car, why take it on the track? im not trying to sound rude or deter you from tracking the car.
