Any one going to open track tomorrow?

Post by jlwhorf » Wed Sep 24, 2008 9:41 am

I'll see if I can make up for missing the August 28 event. I lost a brake line on the orange beast while backing it up to the trailer.

This is the last one scheduled for the season.

^She's overdressed though

I was planning on going, but have not received my license yet,and I did not catch Carl at Mosport(my bad),so I have no credentials.I sure could use a driving fix.

That's a bummer Mark. I just printed new licenses Tuesday, but I was able to email an image of someone's license to them in time for this open track event. I would have been happy to try to email yours too.

I know Gary Kaneb is going. He sold his Atom and he'll be driving his M5 I think.

Thanks Carl. I did not know they would accept anything but the real McCoy. I'll just have to wait till NHMS3.

I would like to meet Gary and talk Atom with him.We have emailed, but not met.
It's a shame he could not register his car because of the assinine restrictions of the Ma. RMV .
One of the very few states that will not allow private reg of the Atom.
It just does not fit in one of their perfect little boxes.

Jonathan and Mark - The girl on my web site is a model out of Florida done by the company that does my on-hold messaging. When you add the "spokes model" to your web site, you get to choose from several models plus you also get to choose what they wear ! All the guys in the shop wanted very little if any clothes on her. But reason won out (Laura the office manager) as we are a family store, I even sell toys (by John Deere) , and I went with a conserative outfit on her.

Mark -- I can't get rid of her :!: She runs the joint ! We've worked together for over 32 years. Without her I would't have the free time to play with the cars, planes and trains .

Just got back. Basically 5 hours of open track. Everybody was well behaved...good passing and etiquette from just about all drivers, and home before 3pm! A fair amount of familiar faces.
