I'm amazed the car runs as well as it does after seeing these.

No pics of the cyl heads or gaskets? Boy,that engine bay is large. Nice 610ci mountain motor would look nice in there

The heads were away at the machine shop when these were taken.

I did get the head gaskets back from Imperial, and I performed myown CSI style inspection of them. The leak was in between the laminates of the head gasket at #5.

To make a very long story short, Ford should have used ARP2000 studs to put the heads on instead of their standard mod motor TTY bolts. Welp....the ARP's are in there now.

I had the car to one autocross, on street rubber.

..and the car was fine... I'm going to run it on the 28th for the SHO event on the V's and see how it is.

Last event I ran street tires as well. NEVER again. Talk about a handicap.I had forgotten just how much better race rubber is holding your car to the ground.

Glad to hear the Termi's feeling better.

I was impressed with how quiet it was at Mt Tremblant. All you could hear was blower whine going up the straight! Scoots pretty well, also.

Thanks. The car has had four different sets of pipes. I settled on the FR500 pipes as I didn't want a hassle with the noise regs at the various tracks COM goes to. I'd actually prefer a little more note, but it is better this way....the car doesn't wake the neighbors..
