COM Event Filmed at Mosport, Info

Post by craigh156 » Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:35 am

For those that did not get the full explaination of the filming.

Andrew Stewart of Legacy Films, filmed COM for a local TV series called "Diggin Durham". This is how it came about. Craig and I have stayed at Willow Pond B&B for the past 4 years. Lynn the owner, e-mailed us Thursday the 4th and asked if we would like to be featured on this show. It sounded fun so we said yes, but wanted to contact the club first. We never did receive the call from the producer Andrew Stewart with details before we left home. So we assumed it was not going to happen so there for did not contact the club. We were surprised they arrived at the track Tuesday morning. Andrew had problems getting in touch with us.

"Diggin Durham" is a local program shown on a public access chanel in a very localized area that includes Bowmanville. They have about 400,000 viewers. The host of the show "Christian" tries to get included in the event as a comdy relief, goofy kind of guy. The show will be approximately 1/2 hour long and due to air in two weeks. The club as well Craig and I will be getting a copy of the show.

The club has been authorized to use the tape of the show for promotions, providing we use "Legacy Films" as getting credit for the production.
Hope everyone had a good time with this. Craig & Dianne Herrick
