(Edit: Sold; thank you everyone for your help and interest)

Hi everyone,

It is my time to leave the racing scene for a while. I need to get my career going on-track before returning to this rather expensive sport.

1996 1.8L SM Miata for sale ($9,000.00)
SCCA-SM approved, with log book

Driven performance built cage; approved for SCCA racing (includes stamp)
Aftermarket muffler (89db) + exhaust pipe tail-tip (95 db)
Engine (stock - 150k miles)
Hardtop (fully-secured to SM specifications)
SM suspension
8 Kosei 15x7 wheels
4 used full-tread RA1s (205/50/15)
4 brand new shaved RA1s (205/50/15)
Custom aluminum driver's seat (15 degree-recline)
Aluminum Kirkey passenger seat (10 degree-recline)
Restrictor Plate (for 1996 1.8L)
Window Net
Hotlap Timer and transponder
Battery cut-off switch
Fire extinquisher
Fuel test port
AMB transponder, hard-wired

Vehicle maintained by Driven-Performance and Apex Automotive Engineering.
The car has very minor dings on the body. It was used in BMWCCA trackdays, COM time trials and 3 SCCA races. It has never been crashed or hit while I owned it.

With that last sentence said, clearly I haven't been racing it hard enough. It is a car that is faster than its owner. It has set a number of good results at various tracks in the North East and Canada.

Oh Alex! Sorry to hear that. I hope you come back real soon.
As for the Miata, whomever is getting your car is a lucky person.
I particularly - as you know - have my own preferences but your car is great.
Cheers!
