Hello all, did anyone get to see the track this weekend with the Grand Am race? It looked like it would be a good Club track.Nice to see a new track with fast corners.It had a lot of right turns like Lime Rock.
How about Scott Pruitt almost getting killed cutting his car in half during pratice.Man was he lucky.
He hit the guard rail at pit in without any sand barrels for protection. The DP's enter the corner well over 100 mph.
It would be nice to get a weekend date there next year. Huge population in a 150 mile radius.

From the Audi website;
"Beginners will focus on classroom time and exercises prior to on-track lapping with an instructor in the car at all times. More experienced students will focus more on track learning, however every participant will be required to attend classroom sessions.
This is not a racing school, nor is it a competitive event."
Hmmm...sounds a bit...regulated if you ask me.
Exercises? Like jumping jacks?
I don't think they would allow us to play cat and mouse Dan.
..at least not more than one session.
I hope COM is considering some dates there next year.

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"
Hi Mark, The Audi club isn't that bad. We could play cat and mouse in the Red Group(most experienced students) and usually have no instructor ride along. But your car has to be registered, a dealer plate will work. The instructor class is usually slower than the red group. I have fun driving with them. I can not do the NJ event or even the Com Oct. event but I hope to do Nov 1&2 at NHMS.
