Blame the Pi folks who make a data acquisition system that CLAIMS to export data, yet does not (argh). If i could export the data to a normal file, could then extrapolate the data and make an overlay with fancy-pants custom graphics and custom layout. This coming winter i plan to dump the current Pinto/Kent lump for the modern Zetec plus upgrade the suspension, upgrade the data acquisition system, up[grade the aero package... Basically, the 1999 chassis can be updated to complete 2008 specs and that is the plan as is perhaps running a full National and some F2000 Championship Series Pro events that are support races for ALMS/etc

Will,
it's 1000000% totally cool, no worries. But yes, i wish i could overlay the data as being from a video game generation i could better see what is going on and learn some more things. The Pi Windows Pro computer software is good and all, yet i REALLY like to crunch the data as much as possible in as MANY ways as possible. In the F2000 what FEELS fast might not BE fast. Yes we are talking small fractions of a second, yet it all adds up from best rolling lap to best *theoretical* lap.
Again, totally cool and no worries. Call it the computer geek in me wanting as much info presented is an many ways as possible. Alas, the TraqMate system went with the Ferrari when she was sold. So am 'stuck' with the Pi2 system that came with the F2000 for the time being.
PS: FYI... the video is lap 5 of SCCA race two this weekend, which at that point i was winning my classification and #2 overall, about 6 seconds behind the #1 overall car (Mr. Super Cool FA Driver you may have met at the COMSCC event). Anywho, on lap 11 coming out of the bowl the gearbox started to sound like ball bearings in a blender. Game over Will hopefully have the Hewland LD200 tranny fixed for WGI event on the 25/26/27. That's racing LOL
