Hoosier Radial Wet's Directional???

I am looking to get my Hoosier Wet tires mounted up and I am wondering if anyone knows if they are directional? Any ideas? I am thinking that I will be mounting the V pattern pointing forward....but it is just a guess. I have a 50-50 shot at it.

Yes, they are directional.

Looking down from the top of the tire, the V points forward.

Sounds like you got it right.

Joel, not to worry. I have ordered the rain gods to stand down on Wednesday. Going for the 19th consecutive Time Trial without rain.

Why??? afraid of a little slipping and sliding???

Ahhh... I see, you drive a MAZDA and like other Miata drivers you don't know what wet driving conditions are because either your cars are not all wheel drive or certainly NOT well balanced ... like the ALFA!
Note it did not accuse the drivers of these machines, I know they are all talented... :thumbleft:

Hey Stephan...

I've heard of people disconnecting sway bars for better traction (and more body roll) in the rain. Guess that's not a problem with the Alfa

As you look at the tire from the front it should look like a smile- accordingly, it is frowning from behind.
Very directional tire and the best competition rain tire made.

Well that is good, I am glad that they are good tires. Looking at the weather, it sure looks like I may get to use them! I will need all the help that I can get. My track record in the rain has not been too spectacular in the rain. Plus it is not that much fun either!

funny, i have 2 pairs here that are different. 2 have inside/outside markings and the other 2 have right>>>/<<<left arrows (r + l both) on both sides

i agree with v pointed forward though

Maybe it is a clue Subie drivers are wishy washy? Right-left-inside-outside, take your pick.
