I'm looking to buy a 964 (1990-1993 911, 2wd, non-turbo coupe) and would like an experienced Porsche mechanic who could review a car I am considering buying. I live in Wrentham, MA and the first car I am considering is in Wesewood.

Any suggestions?

John Hanses is who you want, he knows porsches (esp the racing ones) and is located in Needham, next to Westwood. I'm sure he'd be willing to take a look at it for you.

If the seller is willing to drive up to Stow, Auto Sport (Porsche Exclusive Auto Sport Engineering) will do an honest inspection and find the bugs. I have been there many times in my attempt to buy an air cooled car and send a friend there for his 944 inspection. Hudson Road.

I know they race, but don't know the venue.
