Space is filling up quickly!
I understand we're already on the way to having a good group of returning and new students. The usual crowd of licensed drivers, some new ones, and instructors as well. Tailgate party the evening of Day 1, starting sometime just after the track closes.
In case you haven't seen the new NHMS, since it was NHIS (hint: no change other than the name!), here's a quick video from an event a few weeks ago.
May 20 Instructor group, NAAC Audi. Good bunch of guys.

What time does the track close and can vehicles/trailers be left at the track overnight?

Spoke about it in the Calabogie thread here:
Great Event at Calabogie and posted a clip from Calabogie.
Camera is a cheap solid-state HD camcorder. Shoots many different HD and non-HD formats to SD memory cards. Aiptek Action-HD, available at Walmart.
aiptek.com
I have been shooting in 720p, 60 frames per second.
Mounted inside to the dashboard, using a Sticky Pod Dash model.
Audio quality, in general, stinks. However, inside my car all you can hear is exhaust, so it works! Calabogie videos have the quiet exhaust, NHMS is uncorked.

Camping permitted on Tuesday night, garages available for rent (support the Club!), and vehicles can stay there Tuesday night, garage or no.
Watch the forum for more news as it becomes available.

NHMS opens the gates at 7:30 now. The first BMW day I was there in April they were able to talk their way into a 7am opening somehow.

One thing I strongly discourage is any members, other than myself or other event organizers, from contacting the track for information that I will be providing. We have had past incidences of non-authorized personnel agitating the Track Operations Manager.
I will get us the best scenario of drop offs and gate opennings that they will allow.
I appreciate everyone's cooperation!

Don't know why, but the car seemed very loud that day at NHMS (could be that the louder COM cars weren't there!) . At Calabogie, I ran the "quiet" exhaust, big difference. Perhaps the "loud" exhaust is missing a baffle or two.
