FS (MA) - 2005 Subaru WRX STI

Post by RyanC » Tue Mar 11, 2008 11:59 am

As the title states, up for sale is my 2005 STi.

overview:
World Rally Blue/Silver BBS Wheels
2.5 liter 4 cyl turbo engine ~340hp/340lb-ft
~65,000 miles
6 speed transmission
Brembo 4 piston front brakes
Brembo 2 piston rear brakes
Driver controllable center differential
Intercooler water spray
6 cd changer in dash
HID headlights - height adjustable from cockpit
Mobil 1 from first oil change

original owner - have window sticker
title in hand
good overall condition

modifications:
Whiteline camber bolts
Helix catted downpipe
Ecutek custom tune by Franz D
- 268whp (~40whp increase over stock)
- stock boost levels
- remapped throttle
- modified cam timing
- remapped fueling
- raised redline (7200rpm)
- tuned on KTRs 4 wheel dyno

This car started life as a daily driver and is currently in daily driver form. For the 2005 and 2006 COM seasons it was an STGT class winner and track record setter. It's a set of springs, race pads and RA1s away from doing the same or better in 2008.

The car has run the following times (with corresponding STGT track records):
NHIS NO/SC: 1:18.638
NHIS NC/SC: 1:16.870
Mosport: 1:36.197
Lime Rock: 1:01.762
Tremblant: 1:53.612

I'll be at the July NHIS event; if you buy the car I'll take you out for a session for some one on one instruction.

COM Special pricing: $19,000

Email me for quickest response at rcatucci at gmail dot com. I'm only selling the car because I am moving, but I'm motivated to move quickly so as the saying goes, cash talks...

Thanks

Ryan

Nope, a dealer down in VA picked it up. Quick and easy, just like beating Miatas down the back straight at Mosport! *ducks*

And probably stock Alfas too but hey, pick someone your size... or bigger! :D
Happy for the sale, sorry that you are leaving a prestigious club such as COM for your "other" insignnificant interest such as going to Aussie-land.
Reminds me of the movie Crocodile Dundee ... now you will have enough $$ to get a knife... now that's a knife!

At the last minute I actually got diverted to Munich instead of Australia, so I will be honing my Alfa-passing skills on the Nurburgring as opposed to skinning crocs. Probably more fun, ja?
