Change of Operations

Post by deimos » Sun Mar 02, 2008 6:17 pm

I'm happy to announce that Sam (Chaos4NH) is taking over Chief of Operations this year (and probably as many years as he wants it). He's been briefed and given all the toys. Look for him to sport the nice blue COMSCC Control vest at the next event!

I thank everyone for the past few years. It's been fun.

Congrats and thanks, Sam!

Mark, I think he was so excited to hand off the chores, he got a bit confused. Yep, it is me.

Hey Sam,

Congratulations and thanks for stepping up to help out. Thanks to Andrew for all his hard work in the past years. We have a great group of volunteers in this club and they make it possible for the rest of us to go out and have fun and be safe.

Thanks again to all those who keep us running.

DJ, You did a fine job at Limerock last year, and I discussed your efforts with the outgoing op. Apparently, Sam (a board member) jumped into the open slot before the search ever left the board room!
However, I can bet that Sam will periodically want to go drive his own car on track for a while, in which case we may need someone to help out. If you want to step forward for that cause, I'm sure everyone would sure be appreciative!
Sam- check this guy out! He took over for Andrew without missing a beat, and he has experience running control with another club.
