Good news for ST-4 world ... bad news for SSC world
Folks;
After long consideration-deliberation-remuneration I have decided to remain in SSC Class.
I figured the only way I am going to extract anywhere between 4 - 7 seconds of this Alfa in order to remain competitive in ST-4 is by doing miracles, throw major bucks or invest in a new car (later perhaps when the new Alfa comes to the USA).
Meantime I am going to keep it simple by remaining in SSC so be on the lookout for more body rool this year \:D/ :thumbleft:
So while I will miss the Bradshaw brothers (moving to another class) I look forward to the newcomers, Rob Ready, Tom Panella, Tina and the gang.

That cut deep... real deep Shrek.MiataSteve wrote:Stephan, The ST4 world will welcome you any time you want to come on over...the more the merrier...except for a certain Honda
Stephan, I welcome you as well, as long as you beat 50% of the Miatas when you run ST4, which should not be a problem. hehehe...
If you noticed, SPC is a possiblity for me in '08. I want to race in ITA at some point and I am building the car as such with initial focus on the seat and cage. Granted, I would still qualify for ST4 as long as I didn't change anything else, head, clutch, cat, FD, etc. but the tempation may be too great.

Hhhhhhmmmmmm, you all seem to over look a certain Nissan 200SX that has been in the top 3 or 4 from the first day is was at the track. As I recall it won the class at Lime Rock?

I was running 1:05.3s at LRP until something called a "tire" seperated from something called a "bead"... I could of been a contender!!!!
Defintely though, the 200SX has lots of potential. Now just rebuild or replace the motor to include "piston rings".. someone told me that compression and "a good seal" is important for power.
Stephan, don't you love ST4 already? trash talk is mandatory.

Some other time folks in ST-4, some other time. 2008 is SSC again. But I can still trash talk right?
I failed to see why Miata guys are picking on a Civic Si. I think all non-Miata owners should pick on the fake Alfas even considering the fact that in ST-4 a Miata has NOT won in quite some time ... ouch!!!!

I think ST-4 class should be relabelled Nissan Sentra Class givne the former wins by Chris Tier (when it was ST-3) and Mark S. on the recent wins, track records, championships, etc, etc, etc,
Yes, Japanese cars unite... but not Miata!
I am sure I'll get support on this from SOMEONE is ST-4 right?
