I love my COMSCC mug!

Post by WillM » Thu Feb 21, 2008 11:37 am

Bo posted a while back about the COMSCC mugs.

Here are a couple of pics. The mugs are green/white with engraved logo and lettering, front to back. It is really a nice mug. I use my mug at the office and keep it on my desk (it is pretty handy to have the 2008 event dates right at my fingertips). I got a couple of questions about the club while filling-up at the Keurig machine this morning. I realized that unless you were at an event and already had a mug, you wouldn't know what they looked like. Anyway, here are some pics.

The mugs were given to attendees at our January banquet. From Bo's post, it seems he has some extras.

I'll have to get one of these mugs- it even has the revised Mosport date on it. Cool!

I'll give you mine for $55 ... it's already seasoned with Brazilian coffee and it already avoids evil eyes from your better half ...

From $35 to $55 is such a short time? What is the mug made out of... platinum???

Umm, for $35 i can do an oil change in th F2000 and buy some Motul 600. i'll take the oils/fluids (sorry guys).

As for wintery Stephan, i BARELY made out of the driveway 30 minutes ago to get milk from local store. Did a (barely) controlled slide down the last block of my completely ice-covered with now some light snow on it driveway. Am amazed i made it back up, careful use of throttle for sure as she wanted to slide. Amazing given the newish tires, huge weight of the F250 Superduty with 700 lbs of sand in the back. Think i need chains... and even then...

Sam, from the horde of people you brought to the banquet, I'd expect you to have a complete set of 8 mugs with a customized serving tray and teapot on order. ;)

Amen! And BTW, that really is the machine i use here @ home. American umbrella water does nothing for me. Ristretto (yum) is basically same fluid amount as espresso but TWICE the amount of freshly-ground beans (double-shot holder/beans to make a single fluid quantity shot). Think latex paint in viscosity (that's 20/50 oil at about 80F for you gearheads). YUMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm

BTW: my "better half" is more addicted to Cafe Do Ponto than i am(!). In fact she would tie me down and force me to make her a cup if i did not make a cup each morning voluntarily. Besides, she needs her monster caf injection to keep up with my... <deleted stuff> yet does not necessarily 'have to' tie me down...

Ooops, this is a PG-rated board.
