The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, issued the following statement in response to the decision by the United States to delay until June 1, 2009, at the earliest, implementation of passport requirements for travel by land and sea under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative

Wow, for a moment there i felt they found the stolen truck and trailer.
Sheesh, why it is most Americans do not have a simple passport. Ok, so an intl license might be asking for a bit much, but those are nice to have.
On a good note, Canada $ is worth more than US $ folks, get ready to spend more for trips to the Great White North.
