I bet I could hit 150mph with that prior to putting a wheel off before Jihad Alley.

I've got to admit, as a die hard Mustang guy, that is one sweet ride.
But a don't really see the color as being Raj-like...maybe if you added some Tremblant wall colored stripes

Sweet! But what's with the rich corinthian leather roof and rain catcher hood?

The roof, lip, and side skirts are all carbon fiber. The hood looks to have some sort of plexi insert. I dont' really like the hood or the chrome wheels, but neither would stop me from driving one. I prefer the gray.

Thanks for the info Pete. While one of these under the Christmas tree would be nice, ain't gonna happen. At least we can all benefit from (maybe) prices being pushed down a little on the Z06, since the Zaino guys will be dumping them so they can get the new "top dog"...

Although it's a wonderful car and I'm sure a hoot to drive anywhere am I the only one disappointed that the Marketing dweebs @ Chevy can't do anything but re-hash the old badges?
I'm a die hard C4 guy and think the ZR1 should have been left with it's rightful owners of 90-95. What the hell is so hard with coming up with a new badge?
Chevy did the same thing with the Monte Carlo. I loved the 80s MCs and SS. Then they brought it back as a FWD grocery getter?! WTF?
Sorry, I'm off my soapbox now.

Actually, we C3 guys would like OUR ZR-1 back. You took it from us first. Originally the ZR-1 was an LT-1 with a few extra goodies added on (1970-72). It was Zora's roadrace machine of those years.

Geez, Chevy did it AGAIN and I didn't even realize I fell into the trap!
I guess 36 may not be so old, despite what all my nieces & nephews tell me!

There is some odd history there but it was a helluva engine for its time. And yup, I'd swap it for my 108k mile LT1 any day.
