Updated 2008 Schedule

Post by HerbD » Wed Dec 12, 2007 12:21 pm

Edit - December 21st. Mosport moved from June to September!

The schedule is coming together, so here's what's in the books for
2008 for planning purposes. I'd say these dates are firm.

April 7&8 (M-Tu) NHIS
April 21&22 (M-Tu) Watkins Glen
May 26&27 (M-Tu) Calabogie [Note that Monday is Memorial Day]
July 8&9 (Tu-W) NHIS
August 4&5 (M-Tu) Mont Tremblant
September 8&9 (M-Tu) Mosport
October 25-26 (Sa-Su) NHIS

Thanks for the info - now I can work on vacation schedule for next year.

Wish list for next year - to switch the Mosport and 2nd NHIS date. The proximity of the two Canada dates forces me to choose between Calabogie & Mosport. I did Calabogie last year, so it'll probably be Mosport this time.

Thanks for the work getting the schedule together. It seems we are really being shown the door- only 1 weekend date. I'm sure it was the best we could do- which is shocking.

Thank you for the schedule. Sometimes it is better to do back-to-back in Canada (providing no mechanical issues) but most of these dates is not during school vacation so family does not go (only in Mont Tremblant).
We should have a system to park the cars at next event track so we don't have to haul the sutff back and forth within less than 2 weeks.
Can't win this one. Good for some, bad for others. C'est la vie

That would be a decent solution - if there was a safe place to park my trailer - or truck & trailer between Calabogie & Mosport and ride up & back with others, I'd do it.

Ditto, but considering this year's theft in Canada and have heard of others, color me the guy sleeping in my trailer from now on in Canada. If someone has a secured, guarded and video camera covered storage area that could be a nice alternative.
Enjoy the Track,

We definitely heard this one. Mosport is now in September!
Makes the schedule flow a lot better.

That is fantastic! The Mosport switch into September opens up the 2008 schedule much better than before. Thanks Herb!

Shouldn't registration for NHIS be open today?
