I tried to cord a 2 year old set of RA1's at Lime Rock. Couldn't do it, too cold.

These tires do grip right up till they cord on a warm day.

Flipping the tires on the rim halfway through their life on a Miata will give you an extra day or two at the track with them, just don't wait too long or you'll be wasting your time.

Like you would know, sheesh. By my estimate, you've only mounted and balanced a few thousand. ;)

What sort of hot tire pressures do you guys run with these tires? Obviously it varies from track to track, and from car to car based on pyro temps, but I'm looking for a ballpark number to shoot for during my first few days out.

38-40 hot is the ballpark. Start around 32 cold and tune from there.

We have found 36 to be the sweet spot. Starting around 28-29 is what we do.
